Jessica TeRuki

Jessica has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and has been with our studio for about 4. She fell in love with yoga because it allowed her to challenge her own physical limits in a safe environment, but has since come to appreciate the mental focus and clarity she finds on her mat. She still loves a good arm balance, but has come to incorporate more restorative practices into her routine and seeks to balance softness and power when teaching Vinyasa classes. She isn’t afraid to laugh at herself as she stumbles through a balancing pose, which she often does, and she hopes that students feel empowered to release expectations and try new things in her presence. Tulsa is home to her, and when she isn’t in the studio she is often making art, organizing community events, or enjoying nature. She also has two gorgeous cats that she adores.
