The INVITATION is a spring retreat devoted to the courage of showing up—honestly, tenderly, and without performing. Inspired by Oriah Mountain Dreamer’s The Invitation, this day is an offering to return to what’s real: breath, body, longing, grief, joy, and the quiet truth underneath our roles.
Spring doesn’t force anything. It opens. It listens. It takes its time. In that same spirit, this retreat invites you to soften the armor of “fine” and come closer to your lived experience—what you want, what you’re carrying, and what you’re ready to let move. Through mindful movement, guided meditation, and reflective practices, we’ll explore a different kind of strength: the strength to stay present with your own life.
This is an invitation to meet yourself with honesty and care—and to leave with a felt sense of clarity, groundedness, and renewed inner trust.
The Instructor:
Guided by Melissa Cameron, a Licensed Professional Counselor and yoga instructor with over 20 years of experience, this retreat blends mindful movement, meditation, and community to support inner alignment and renewal.
What to Expect:
Throughout the day, participants will experience:
- Two yoga practices — a morning flow to awaken energy and an afternoon restorative session to integrate and ground
- Two guided meditations focused on cultivating clarity, gratitude, and intention
- Creative reflection and art experiences to deepen personal insight
- Meaningful community connection with space for shared conversation and stillness
- Catered lunch featuring fresh, nourishing ingredients
This retreat is inspired by the question, “I want to know what you ache for…” — and what becomes possible when we listen.
All yoga props are included.
